Since Plato wrote about this submerged continent in 360 BC, many have tried to discover the location of Atlantis and it may be precisely from where we write these lines, here in the Canary Islands, where the legend was forged. One that tells the story of the Atlantean people, who were a rich, generous and just society ruled by Poseidon. When they became greedy and selfish, Zeus decided to punish them and destroyed and submerged Atlantis forever. However, different studies suggest that this mythological continent, which had large and impressive mountains, could have remained on the surface of the sea, forming what is now the archipelago of the Canaries.
