We are proud to announce as founding partners, of the birth of the Canary Islands Association of the MICE Industry, the first official organization in the history of the sector in the Canary Islands. Initially made up of a dozen companies from both provinces, we have come together to consolidate MICE events as a strategic tool in the industrial fabric of the Canary Islands, from DMC agencies to conference centers and audio visual companies.
In this way, in these moments of change for the tourism industry, the sector, in need of union and strategic direction, we have created the Canary Association of the MICE Industry, with the trademark CANARIAS MICE. Aware that the situation in which we live has not been a temporary change in route, but rather a turning point that requires more analytical and strategic thinking from the MICE segment.
The Association is made up of a dozen companies from the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas, to represent and defend the professional interests of the members. Among its objectives are also promoting professionalization, technologization and sustainability and avoiding intrusion, as formulas to maintain excellence, commitment, generosity and empathy in the sector.
Since its inception, the association has the support of the main Canary Convention Bureaux, with the firm intention of consolidating MICE events as a strategic tool for economic development, employment and wealth generator in the industrial fabric of the Canary Islands. With a clear global objective, to be able to give all together the best service to our clients.
