Nespresso Gran Canaria CSR Activity

Early in the morning, we headed to the north of Gran Canaria to hold with Nespresso a CSR day in which its employees could discover the natural environment of the island and print the positive environmental mark of their trip.

In first place, and following the philosophy of the brand, the participants visited the ecological farm that forms the only coffee plantation of Europe, in which they actively cooperated in its cultivation and harvesting methods accompanied by the workers of the estate itself. In this wonderful enclave they were able to taste a sustainable breakfast made up of KM0 products. After recharging their strength, they discovered the Kingdom of Guayedra, a magic area full of aboriginal legends that was the chosen enclave for our reforestation and land preparation activity. After much effort and with the satisfaction of a job well done, the members of the activity had the best reward that could exist: a traditional lunch full of delicious local dishes. An incredible CSR day that ended with an informal meeting at the hotel where we all could rest and have a drink with the unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean in the background.

Undoubtedly, team building and sustainability are two future bets for corporate events in the Canary Islands.
